Hi, I’m Amy O’Keefe
My clients often remark on my calmness in the midst of planning an event. That comes from experience (plus a little yoga and meditation).
I found my path to hospitality by way of Cornell University and its renowned School of Hotel Administration. What began as an interest in the business curriculum became a journey into the world of event planning, working for top hoteliers and restaurateurs such as Ian Schrager, André Balazs and Chef Tom Colicchio, and most recently for world-famous interior designers, Roman and Williams, and their events program at La Mercerie at RW Guild.
Having spent 15 years working on the “other side” of event planning, I love drawing on my insider knowledge of NYC’s top hotels and restaurants to find the ideal venue that provides the perfect experience and ambience.
Clients also benefit from my experience producing thousands of events, and my long-held knowledge of service standards, event flows, and sales negotiations.
I started Amy O’Keefe Events as I wanted to provide a more rewarding, stress-free event planning experience for corporate organizations, nonprofits and individuals.
